Melanie Williams is a partner in the Miller Williams Law Group, where she provides the very best representation of her clients. She began with the firm as a paralegal, while attending college at the Georgia Institute of Technology. Melanie received a bachelor’s degree in Management from Georgia Tech. After college, she attended law school and simultaneously earned a master’s degree in City and Regional Planning. After law school, Melanie worked in a large corporate firm, then joined the federal government, where she began the practice of administrative law. Since starting in private practice, Melanie has represented hundreds of clients in the areas of Personal Injury, Social Security Disability, Workers’ Compensation, Family, and Zoning Law.
Coming from a legal family and using her experience as defense counsel, Melanie understands the personal impact that Social Security and Injury cases have on her clients. She brings the same level of advocacy to building families through adoptions and guardianships and by helping developers create new projects.
In 2020, Melanie was appointed Pro Hac Judge and Judicial Officer for the Fulton County State Court. She was sworn in by the retired Probate Chief Judge, Pinkie Toomer.
When she isn’t practicing law, you might find Melanie drafting a screenplay while drinking a warm cup of tea. Being a wife and a mother to two active little girls and one bonus daughter brings her great joy as well.
